The subway is where I do most of my art (drawings anyway). The fact that It’s a moving art studio is what makes me create. The symbol of the fact that I am free from a small space confined to a drafting table is liberating. To be with people with no true destination is what helps me create. The idea that I never plan on what I am drawing is how I do my best work. I like the idea that I don’t have to think and just Be in the moment of whatever I am doing at that time. Though it’s not limited to just the subway, any place where I can be in the public yet disappear is what helps me focus. I am a nomad moving from one place to another just to follow my creativity. It all depends on when my inspiration hits me.
