“Push me under, pull me deeper, push me home: two hitchhikers find unexpected, inexplicable love on a remote road in the Australian outback.” – Siouxzi Mernagh

This is a part of our Summer 2013 theme: Love

We sent out a call for creative artists of any kind to share their creative interpretations of love. Entries will be posted Monday through Friday throughout the summer. Browse the entries. If you’d like to be part of our next project in the fall, please sign up and await our call.

What is the Nonsense Society?

The Nonsense Society was created by the famous composer Franz Schubert in the 1800′s in order to share creativity, art, culture and music. After he died, the idea was lost. We’re picking up where he left off.

Fantasy in C Major Op.15 D.760 ‘Wanderer’ – II. Adagio by Franz Schubert

We’re an international community and online publication featuring passionate aspiring, undiscovered, and independent creatives. Together we’ve created a remarkable tribe and are building our galleries every day with more and more inspiring work through themes and projects featuring your work. If you’re an artist with creativity, passion and vision you belong in the Nonsense Society.

We believe that every artist, musician, filmmaker, designer, writer, and performer should have help getting their work seen. We don’t care if you’re 13 or 93. We don’t care if you have a degree or if you dropped out of the 8th grade. We constantly see great work being ignored in the art community. So called “important” people in the art community are always the first to shoo you away. We don’t necessarily want the most popular artists. We don’t necessarily want the most established artists. We want the most passionate artists. We want the ones with dreams. We want to find you before anyone else does. If you’re creative and passionate about your art, please join us.
