A couple weeks ago I got an email from Seray Niyazi asking that I take a look at her fashion photography and told me about her dream. Her passion grew from a childhood obsession with a photograph that randomly stuck in her mind. Years ago she had seen a shopping bag with a photo of a little girl holding a “bubble stick.” Instead of bubbles, however, pills and medications floated through the air. For some reason she never forgot about how creative that strange, anonymous picture was and decided her dream was to create fashion images that might someday be on bags and in magazines. So here it is, years later, Seray has an impressive portfolio and is well on her way to her dream. Maybe someday she will inspire another little girl to live a creative life. Let’s help spread her work, and learn from her inspiration.
